Heh...this is my first time drawing a hydralisk. I don't think i did that bad! ^_^'
Of corse the date is probubly wrong, i drew this on the back of an extra credit crossword puzzle at school, so i didn't really have the resources to look up when the very first ALIEN book was released. (assuming there was a book before the movie that is)

Alien was released in 1979. There was no preceding novel but the creature itself bears a resemblance to a lot of H.R. Giger's earlier biomechanical work.
